Waiting Areas
The waiting areas are not playing areas. Please instruct your child not to run, jump on the furniture, stand on the furniture, etc. Should improper behavior persist, and the parent is not in attendance, the parent will be called and asked to pick the child up. Any damage to the property of
Drop off & Pick up
Feel free to drop off your children for class. However, please do not drop your child off for class more than twenty minutes early. Parents of pre-schoolers are expected to be waiting in the lobbies when classes are over, and parents of older students aer asked to pick their child up on time. Only in extreme emergencies should a child be left longer than five minutes after their class is over. Should an emergency arise, call, and if necessary, leave a message. We will relay the message to your child. Do not instruct your child to wait in front of the building for pick-up. Children are not allowed to wait under the canopy or play in the parking area. Parents who consistently leave children past the recommended pick-up time will be asked to make other arrangements for their child, change the time of their child’s class to better accommodate their schedule, and/or charged a sitting fee after repeated tardiness.
Parking
Parking areas are designated. At no time is parking allowed at the entrance and exit areas of the canopy. Do not park in the middle of the parking lot. Park your vehicles around the perimeter of the building. Entrance and exits are clearly designated. Parking is reserved for the staff on the west side of the building. Please use caution when driving in the parking lot.
Dressing Room
A girls’ dressing room is provided. Do not allow your child to bring valuables to class. Thefts have occurred. We are not responsible for lost or stolen articles. There is a designated lost and found area located in this dressing room. It is recommended that your child take her belongings into class with her and later be instructed for proper placement. Boys should change in the restroom located in the waiting room. At no time should there be food or drinks in the dressing room or the studios. They will be disposed of immediately.
Phone Calls
Students are not allowed to use the telephone. If an emergency exists, an adult will make the phone call for the child, and talk to the parent. Phone calls are not allowed for incidentals, calling friends, questions about pick-up times, etc.
Attendance
Absences are discouraged. However, should an absence be necessary, we ask that you leave a message for our information. Make-up classes for dance can be made up only if there is another comparable class available.
Visitation
Parents are not allowed in studios during class time since learning cannot take place when distractions occur. A viewing window is located on dance Studio A. There is also a viewing window located on dance studio C. However, viewing through these windows is only allowed during the last week of the month due to the distractions caused in the past. Students that are assigned to Studio C will be escorted by their parents and their teacher to their class. The bleacher area is for gymnastics use only. Do not sit on bleachers while waiting for your child to finish class in Studio C. This is a distraction to gymnasts who are practicing.
Vending Machines
Change may be obtained from the Pro Shop if someone is available. We ask that you instruct your child to put trash in the proper containers. It would be of great help to supply your child with the correct change before dropping them off at the studio.

Snacks - $.50-.75
20 oz. Bottled water - $1.00
Food & Drink
No food or drink is allowed anywhere except in the waiting areas. Bottled water will be the only beverage allowed in the studios. This rule will be strictly enforced. If a child brings a drink or food into the studios or dressing room, it will be disposed of by the teacher. Students should be instructed not to buy food or drink right before class.
Notices
Periodically, notices will be posted on our message board or on our website ( www.dancingfeet.biz ). Please check these locations regularly to ensure that you are made aware of any notices from the instructor.
